In late November a small group gathered at the Banyule Flats swamp viewing area to officially launch [with a cuppa] the new interpretative signs developed by WCS in collaboration with Banyule Bushland staff Megan Lowe and Chris Callahan. Joining WCS members, Banyule Bushland Management and BCC Environment people were guests of honour, photographers Rodger Scott and Ian Wilson who had very kindly donated some of their wonderful bird photos for use on the sign. Other contributing photographers were WCS’s own Anthea Fleming and Daphne Hards. There are two signs: one at the swamp viewing area (pictured) and one at the northern end of the Swamp, looking towards Banyule House.
